2026 TIBERIAN SUN CASH TOURNAMENT RULES

TOURNAMENT CASH GAMES

DC = loss: The rule is, if you disconnect from a cash tournament game you lose. There are exceptions to this rule, but go on a case by case basis. Just don't disconnect from games.

NOD+GDI for 2v2: Understand that due to the mechanics of the game at CNCNET.ORG, the best combination of 2v2 clan team games is almost ALWAYS better if one player is GDI and one player is Nod because of double tech capabilities. The rare exception to this rule is if the players are top 5-10 world ranked at a specific faction, be it Nod or GDI.

Lobby + Start Rules: For tournament cash games, the host should announce the rules of the game in the Game Lobby before the game starts, and also in the game via text chat, once the game has begun.

WW=GDI or Nod, no random: There was no ??? in WW. In the original Westwood Studios team clan games, there was no random team selection (???) in the Game Lobby. You had to choose GDI or Nod. If host asks you to choose a side, then you should do so for tournament cash games.

No unally in WW team game: In the original Westwood studio team clan games, there was no option to unally. Therefore, some pros require in the rules that you not MCV swap during a game. Originally only Nod could grab an ally's MCV. (Which was nice because Nod is slightly weaker faction on maps like Terraces according to some experts) This might be a rule in tournament cash games.

Cash game = no spec: The rule is no spectators in cash games because spectators can see stealthed buildings and units. The spectators could be chatting on phone, discord, or teamspeak and giving positions away. Specs can be allowed if host says its ok.

Draw = score decides: In the rare instance of a draw where both players die at the same time, it might be considered that the score decides winner. (Note: Usually one player will die slightly before another and the end score will reflect the winner.)
