TEAM GAMES VS AI:

COMPUTER STOMP "COMP STOMP" GAMES VS THE COMPUTER

 

Difficulty level of AI affects health points: Hard AI level has buildings and units that are harder to destroy than normal. Normal AI has normal building and unit strength and is best to practice against for accurate tournament building kills. Easy AI has buildings and structures that are easier to destroy than in a tournament game.

 

The Computer cheats: The computer cheats and has more money than you do. The computer can build faster than you can. The computer can sometimes build without a Construction Yard.

 

Make the AI surrender fast: If you destroy all the Construction Yards, War Factories, Helipads, and Barracks/Hand of Nod, the AI will usually surrender. If Short Game settings are on, then you will defeat that enemy when they surrender.

 

JJ diverts ground units: Divert the ground units that cannot shoot air units with your Jump Jet Infantry. He can lead a lot of enemy units away from your base.

 

Hard AI requires more units to destroy buildings: On hard level AI 5 banshee can barely kill a Construction Yard because of Sams and Engineers. Six Banshee should be able to destroy a Hard AI Construction Yard.

 

Some maps have super AI: The difficulty of the AI really depends on the map. Some modded maps have super AI that is very difficult.

Avoid attacking enemy units to possible delay enemy AI attack: If you do not attack enemy computer units, they might not attack you. Try to avoid attacking their Harvesters in the early game if you can. If your Artillery are not deployed, they might not be attacked by the computer.

 

Tech 9 = no super weapons: Set the Tech to 9 instead of 10 if you want no superweapons like missiles, seekers, or ion cannons in the game. This makes it easier to vs a lot of hard AI.

 

Walk Engi rush = early win: You can send 3 Engineers at the beginning of the game if the enemy base is close enough and win.

 

SubAPC + CC/Rocket Inf + 2nd SubAPC /Engi rush: You can send one Subterranean APC with a Cyborg Commano and 4 Rocket Infantry in one that is the decoy for a second Subterranean APC with three Engineers. The first Subterranean APC with the Cyborg Commando and four Rocket Infantry lure all the enemy defenses away from your Subterranean APC with Engineers.

 

AI usually attacks most kills player first: The AI on normal maps usually attack the player that has the most kills. So, if you are not being attacked, build up and attack the computer before several computer players overwhelm your ally before you can destroy one of the enemy AIs. Do not bunk while your ally is being attacked, or you might lose after your ally is defeated.

 

Destroy MCV Warf so enemy can't build: Focus on destroying the Construction Yard, MCV's and the War Factory so that the enemy AI can not build new buildings (sometimes he does anyway). Then destroy the Helipads, Barracks, Temple of Nod, Missile Silo so that the enemy AI can not send units or use his super weapons.

 

Mission maps: Games against the computer can be fun and some maps are special mission maps that are multiplayer! These maps require that you accomplish certain missions to win the game. You may or may not be given a base to produce units and structures on these mission maps. It helps to play with players that either made the map or know the map so that you can learn how to play it. Many of these mission maps will have secrets that make it easier to win if you know the secrets.

EMP freeze = Stopped AI: If you EMP Cannon freeze enemy AI units, they might not shoot at your units after they are unfrozen unless you shoot at them. Try avoiding firing at these stopped AI units.

 

Cant unally AI: There is no way to unally AI team in a game. Make sure to setup the teams in the Game Lobby.

 

AI auto sends to SD: The AI usually automatically sends damaged units to the Service Depot.

 

AI almost never uses EMP: The enemy AI will not use EMP Cannon on normal maps, this feature can be programmed into maps.

 

AI kill count win: On some AI maps the objective is simply to see who got the most kills by the end of the mission.

 

3-4 eng rush AI: If the enemy AI base (on normal westwood maps) starts close to your base, you can send 3-4 Engineer to the enemy as fast as possible and steal their MCV before they can build, then finish the AI with Light Infantry, and possibly 3-4 Rocket Infantry or Disc Throwers. This is a fast way to take one AI player out of game.

 

2 SubAPC + 3-4 Engi + CC+ 4RI: One Tiberium Refinery, War Factory, Tech Center, and quickly send out two Subterranean APC, send the first Subterranean APC with your Cyborg Commando and four Rocket Infantry to destroy MCV. The AI will send all forces to kill your first SubAPC. Now quickly, almost at same time, deply the second SubAPC by enemy War Factory and steal with 3-4 Engineers. This is a fast way for a player to take out enemy base that is far away.
